That’s right I hate to have to write this tonight but the Lakers lost their first game of the season to the Detroit Pistons.  The Pistons outplayed the Lakers tonight both in defense and shooting.  I did like the little run the Lakers put together around the four minute mark in the fourth to bring the game a little closer.  They continued fighting all the way till the end and brought the final score back to within eleven from twenty at one point in the fourth quarter.  So they tasted defeat and they lost their perfect record. But should the fans despair? Not even.

The Lakers will have the weekend off to examine what went wrong in tonight’s game and prepare for the next game at the Lakers center on Tuesday against the Bulls.  The Bulls currently have a 4-5 record and in my opinion are in a rebuilding stage.  Does that mean the Lakers can relax? Not for a second.  If I have learned anything from watching Basketball, any team can win on any given night, it just depends on how the ball falls.  Well thats all from me tonight, until next time Lakers fans!
