Well if you’re like me, you probably didn’t have too much interest in last nights game. And yes it’s ok to admit that and still be a Lakers fan. That’s not to say I didn’t watch the game, but Lakers vs. Clippers doesn’t get me that excited. Especially after having watched the Lakers give the Clippers their biggest home-opening game defeat in franchise history just a couple of games back.
The Clippers actually came out and played with some heart, not like the 0-4 team they really are. Baron Davis, along side Marcus Camby looked pretty good, maybe they will get a win soon. The Clippers finished the first half actually above the Lakers 51-47 and had to feel pretty good as they headed into the Locker room. That good feeling they took into the locker room didn’t last as the purple and gold stole the show in the second half out scoring the Clippers by a whopping 21 points to finish the game 106-88 and get their fourth win of the season.
Tracy McGrady, Yao Ming and the rest of the Houston Rockets roll into the Staples Center on Sunday, with tip off at 6:30. The Rockets are currently 3-1, coming off their first loss of the season (which the Celtics delivered to them). This will definitely be a tougher game for the Lakers, and yes I’m excited to watch this one. Join us here on Sunday as we follow the action.
